Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for multiple contract opportunities at Launceston General Hospital, one of Tasmania's leading tertiary referral hospitals.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy Emergency Department managing a broad range of adult and paediatric presentations while enjoying everything Tasmania has to offer.

About the Role

Launceston General Hospital is a 400-bed tertiary referral hospital servicing Northern Tasmania. The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care in a fast-paced, well-supported environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across a diverse range of emergency presentations, utilising your assessment, triage and resuscitation skills while working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team.

• Agency rates up to $70.00 per hour (AM shift) plus penalties and super
• Multiple contract opportunities available, including long-term placements
• Full-time hours with guaranteed roster
• Dedicated consultant support throughout your contract

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Triage competency
• Resuscitation competency
• Ability to work a fully rotational roster
• Ability to commit to the full contract duration
